Dustin Parker was born and raised in Bridgeville, Delaware, where he attended the Woodbridge School District before going on to pursue his bachelors degree from the University of Delaware. After college, he accomplished a great deal in the field of politics and worked on several high profile races. At the age of 21, Dustin became the youngest winning statewide campaign manager during the 2010 state treasurers race.
Interested in sharing his knowledge of the political system with our future leaders, Dustin completed his master’s degree in teaching and began a career in education. His teaching career has spanned every type of school from alternative placement environments, to public schools, to the Sussex Academy charter school. He currently teaches middle school social studies, where his mix of academic and practical knowledge in the field is a great benefit for his students.
This year, Dustin took on a new professional challenge by entering the field of real estate. He joined the office of Callaway, Farnell and Moore, Inc. and has had great success in a short time. His expertise in marketing, technology and the local market has been an excellent fit for this career.
Dustin serves the community through his participation in multiple non-profit organizations. He serves on the Executive Board of the Bridgeville Lions Club, is a member of the Sussex Academy Board of Education, and is a drummer in the praise band at St. Johns United Methodist Church. In Dustin’s impressive and varied career, he has continuously sought out opportunities to give back to his community. He looks forward to future opportunities to continue this work.
