LaShawn Ward has been at the forefront of creative execution for over 13 years. Since 2002, she has held management, sales or marketing roles at some of the countries most prominent brands including Bank of
America, Tommy Hilfiger, Nordstrom, Merrill Lynch and Yellowbook. Today, she serves as the Head of U.S. Marketing for a small business digital marketing company based out of King of Prussia, PA.
In addition to her marketing executive role, LaShawn is also a small business owner, where she and two other female business partners recently launched an event design business called RSVP Events Design, LLC. She serves as partner and style strategist helping clients transform event space, interior decor or their own personal style into something quite creative and unique.
LaShawn is also a mentor to young girls where she serves as co-advisor for her church’s youth praise dance team. She’s been committed to this ministry for over 7 years and is an active member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. Over the years, LaShawn has received many accolades including being a former YMCA Black Achiever and being one of the first co-chairs of the now United Way of DE’s Revive the Village (African-American initiative) committee.
LaShawn holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware and an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and has held numerous leadership roles within her chapter(s) and participates in many local community initiatives and volunteering. LaShawn resides in Wilmington with her husband, Brewster Ward, Jr., who is also a local small business owner. She has two step-sons and a dog named Coty. LaShawn is passionate about her faith, community and her family.
